THE ROLE
As our Team Lead SEO (m/f/d) you will play a key role in our customer acquisition and CRM area within our Digital department. You will manage and develop our SEO team while overseeing and leading all of Canyon’s organic search channels. We are looking for an experienced SEO manager that is used to working in a highly agile environment.
YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW
- Develop and implement effective global SEO strategies
- Setting quarterly and yearly performance targets for the SEO team
- Optimize and manage work relationship with other departments to maximize site traffic, organic visibility as well as acquire new customers
- Perform day-to-day performance optimization and management for our Search Engines based on customer goals and business targets
- Drive profitability via growth, optimization, creative testing, and landing page testing by setting clear expectations that drive qualified traffic
- On a regular basis, conduct SEO audits
- Ensure improvement of the team's professional skills
- Identify skill gaps and work with HR to fill these positions accordingly
HOW YOU BECOME PART OF THE RACE
- Proven experience as Senior SEO Manager or similar position
- 6+ years experience within an eCommerce, direct to consumer business or agency
- 3+ years leadership experience
- Global mindset and experience managing global SEO strategies
- Success in managing global organic visibility/ranking across all major search engines
- Experience with SEO for APAC markets (e.g. China) is a plus
- Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g. Sistrix, Google Cloud Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush)
- Experience with AI tools & Python to increase efficiency is a plus
- Strong project management and escalation skills
- Pronounced hands-on mentality and preparedness to provide operational support at any time
- You are a committed team player with a passion for helping people advance
- Curious about the latest techniques and trends in the search landscape
