THE ROLE

    Canyon, a major player in the bike market, is currently looking for a new communications manager for its French office within the Marketing team. You will be responsible for optimising the Canyon website and managing social networks. You will be required to travel to events in France (5 to 6 times a year).

WHAT WE EXPECT

  • Creation/adaptation (translations) of content on French channels (social networks, press releases, newsletters...), with a view to expanding the fan community, under the direction of the head office team, while ensuring their relevance to the French market.
  • Deliver France-specific content and contribute to creative brainstorming for French marketing and sales promotion.
  • Implementation of media planning: Ensure the delivery (in liaison with the HQ) of advertising elements to media partners according to the budget and timing agreed with the Marketing Team Leader according to the campaigns, support Canyon product placements (bikes and equipment) in accordance with the priorities and objectives of product launches and sales administration.
  • Participate in the promotion of our events on all our channels, before, during and after, with the Marketing Manager and the Event Manager, to obtain an optimal and targeted reach and traffic.
  • Ensure the relevance and editorial quality of market-specific content on the canyon.com website, ensure the uploading/translation of news and content to ensure the comfort of navigation for French customers.
  • Promote to the team the importance of the link between sales, marketing, customer service, and customer care to ensure that campaigns are linked to business objectives, whether they are opportunities or obstacles.
  • Good writing skills in French and fluency in spoken and written English (exchanges with the head office, translations) are essential for this job.
